Community Involvement

I am actively involved with St. John Fisher College and serve on the Alumni Board of Trustees. I also serve on the Italian American Community Center Board of Directors as well as Ontario ARC's Advisory Board. I also work closely with Special Olympics NY, Camp Good Days, Canandaigua Kiwanis Club, Canandaigua YMCA, The Salvation Army and the Rochester Press Radio Club Children's Charities.

In addition, I work very closely with the Canandaigua and Rochester departments of Economic Development to strategize on ways to attract and maintain our youth population. I have Co-Founded the Finger Lakes Networking Group, a social and professional organization that meets frequently to discuss business opportunities, networking, and entrepreneurial development.

I have a very strong affinity for children, especially children and families who are undergoing some type of adversity. For that reason alone, this is why I decided to organize the Canandaigua Freezefest also known as the “Polar Plunge” and  has been one of my favorite and most impactful events since 2006.  In April 2014, the Polar Plunge raised over $25,000 which goes directly to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities participating in the Special Olympics of New York.  The flexibility of my career allows me the opportunity to give back to the community in one more ways than one.

My associate Jackie and I took 2014 by storm as we were both recognized for our efforts in the community.  In October 2014, I was named one of Rochester Business Journal's Forty under 40 for both my professional success and significant civic contributions.   In September of 2014, Jackie was awarded with the Associate Community Impact Award by The Dodd Agency for her volunteer and charity work within the community.
